Trigger's Chicken Noodle
My nephew is one picky eater but even HE loves this dish!
Ingredients:
3 Bone in skin on Chicken Breasts
6 cups of water
2 chicken bullion cubes
1 onion
2 stalks of celery
2 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
2 TBS cornstarch
1/2 cup cream
1 package of egg noodles
In a large pot add in the chicken, water, bullion, onion (cut in half without peel), celery stalks, and salt and pepper. Cook until the chicken is done, about 30 minutes. Remove the chicken and strain the broth.Bring the broth back to a boil and cook the noodles until al dente (about 8 minutes). Shred the chicken and add back into the pot with the broth and noodles. Mix the cornstarch in with the cream and stir into the broth to thicken the sauce. Serve into bowls and you have a toddler friendly and delcious meal for your whole family!
