Cordon Bleu Bites
These are a way to have a fancy appetizer taste in a nice and comforting package!
Ingredients:
1 loaf of french bread sliced in rounds
1 cup of diced roasted chicken
1 jar marinated artichoke hearts chopped
1/2 cup of shredded mozzerella cheese
4 slices of bacon cooked and crumbled
1/4 cup seasoned breadcrumbs
1 TBS chopped parsley
2 TBS melted butter
1/2 tsp onion powder
salt and pepper
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Line cookie sheet with the slices of bread. Top each piece with a TBS of chicken, some shredded cheese, artichokes, and bacon crumbles. In a small bowl toss the breadcrumbs with the parsley and onion powder. Drizzle in the melted butter and stir until wet. Top each slice of bread with the crumb mixture and bake for 15 minutes until everything is golden brown! Depending on the size of your bread you may want to cut them in half for an appetizer serving. Serve at your next party for a great treat or use them for an easy weeknight dinner!
