Tres Leches Cake
I have seen a ton of different recipes for this cake all over the internet. I've tried a few and they are complicated. So I simplified it by using a cake mix!
Ingredients:
1 white cake mix
3 eggs
1/3 cup of oil
1 1/4 cup of water
1 can of sweetened condensed milk
1 cup of evaporated milk
1 cup of heavy cream
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 container of whipped topping
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease and flour a large 9x13 inch baking pan
Make cake acording to directions on box. Bake for 30 minutes. While still hot, prick the cake all over with a fork. In a medium bowl mix the milks together along with the vanilla. Stir until well blended. Pour the milk sauce over the top and place in the refridgerator for at least 2 hours. Overnight is best. Top the cake with the whipped topping and serve with your favorite fruit or just sprinkled with a little cinnamon!
