Peanut Butter Pie
This is a knock off of a very famous pie that is made into a sundae in New York City.... See if YOU can figure out where its from!
Ingredients:
1 frozen pie shell
2 packages of cream cheese softened
1 cup of smooth peanut butter
1 can of sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp vanilla
1 container of whipped topping
1/4 cup chopped peanuts
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and bake the pie shell for 10 minutes or until browned. Let cool completely.
In a large mixing bowl combine cream cheese and peanut butter and blend until fully combined. Stir in the condensed milk and vanilla. Gently fold in half of the cool whip and spread into the cooled pie shell. Top with the remaining whipped topping and nuts. Chill for at least two hours in the refridgerator.
For the "Secret" Sundae... In a bowl add in a slice of pie, 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream, top with hot fudge or caramel and whipped cream!
