Homemade Caramel Sauce
Probably one of the easiest and most addicting little treats I've ever made. This stuff is amazing on banana and granny smith apples!
1 can of sweetened condensed milk
In a large pot (a tall pasta pot preferably) fill it to about 5 inches from the top with water and bring to a boil. Remove the label from the can and place unopened into the water. Turn the heat down to medium high heat and simmer for 2 hours. You might need to add more water halfway through because the top has to remain covered or the can will explode. Once it has cooked 2 hours turn the heat off and let it sit until it cools completely. Open the can sprinkle with a little sea salt if you wish and enjoy!
