Spicy Sausage Cranberry Balls
One of My Mom's most requested recipes!
Ingredients:
1 - 1lb pkg. Hot Flavor Pork Sausage
1 ½ cups bisquick
8oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
2/3 cup chopped dried sweetened cranberries
Dash of poultry seasoning
Dash of onion powder
2 tablespoons grated really fine green pepper
1 cup chopped pecans
Preheat oven to 350. Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl ( I use my Kitchen Aide electric mixer. You just have to go real slow so it does sling the mixture out.) Form into 1” balls and place on an ungreased baking sheet; bake 18-20 minutes or until golden brown.
Note: may be prepared ahead and frozen cooked or uncooked. To bake from frozen: thaw on cookie sheet 15 minutes then bake in preheated oven 20-25 minutes. If already baked cover & heat until warm about 15 minutes.
