Mac N Cheese
Every kid loves mac n cheese! This is a simple way to make it and I promise it will be a hit!
Ingredients:
1 package of noodles (doesn't matter what kind)
1 cup velveeta diced or cheddar if you prefer
2 tbs butter
1/4 cup cream
1 tsp mustard powder
1 tbs flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
In a large pot boil the noodles in salted water for 8-10 minutes until done. Drain well and set aside. In a medium sauce pan melt the butter and then add the flour. Over medium high heat cook for 2 minutes stirring constantly until the raw flour smell is gone. This is the first step to making a roux or gravy, just in case you are curious! Add in the cup and half of milk and the cream. Reduce heat to medium and stir until thickened and there are no lumps. Add in the salt, pepper, and mustard powder and stir until well combined. Take the pot off of the heat and blend in the cheese. Stir until melted and gooey. Pour over the noodles and stir until they are well coated.
And there you have it! Mac n Cheese!
