Simple Sausage and Rice
Seriously this is one of those too good to be this simple kind of recipe. Its something that can be added to and changed to your family's taste, or left alone the way it is. Kids like it and so do men!
Time: 15 minutes start to finish!
Ingredients:
1 package of ground pork sausage (you can use mild, italian or hot)
2 packages of long grain and wild rice blend (I use Uncle Ben's)
*Possible add ins, steamed broccoli, mushrooms, bell pepper, onion, tomatoes, peas... really whatever you'd like.
In a large pot saute the sausage until brown. Pour in the rice and seasonings and stir until you can smell the seasonings. Add in the amount of water on the box and cook until done. Serve with a salad or veggies. Seriously... its that easy.
