Sloppy Joe Pasta
Most kids like Sloppy Joes, and most of them like Mac and Cheese, so this is a way to combine the two of them into a creamy, different pasta dish!
Ingredients:
1 lb of ground beef
2 cans of Sloppy Joe Seasoning (like manwhich)
1 package of elbow maccaroni
1 cup of diced velveeta (about half inch cubes or shredded)
1 cup of croutons crushed into crumbs
3 tbs butter melted
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
In a small bowl combine the crouton crumbs, butter, and cheddar cheese together and set aside. In large pot bring salted water to a boil. Add in the noodles and stir. Boil as per the directions on the package. Cooking times vary according to what type of pasta you use. While the pasta is cooking, brown the meat in a skillet until cooked through. Add in the sauce, stir well, and turn the heat off letting it simmer. Drain the pasta and pour the meat sauce over it. Stir to coat. Toss in the cheese and lightly stir. You want ribbons of cheese throughout not it blended. Pour into a greased baking dish and top with the crumb topping. Bake for 20 minutes on 350 degrees until bubbly! Serve with Green beans and fresh bread for a yummy meal!
